– WWE DVD’s being released later this year include a John Cena set on November 9th, WWE’s 100 Craziest Moments on December 14th and a set on Bobby “The Brain” Heenan on December 28th.
– WWE Superstars will be painting murals for low-income housing authority homes in Los Angeles as a part of the community outreach campaign being done in the city in association with SummerSlam.
– WWE will be promoting SummerSlam by sending out 700,000 pieces of mail to addresses they have on file. A bar code that fans can capture or scan will be on the piece of mail. You can then send it back to WWE to receive a video package promoting SummerSlam. People who send their bar codes in will also be entered into a contest to win the SummerSlam Anthology DVD.
– WWE will be only taping one episode of NXT and SmackDown tonight in Corpus Christi, Texas. Tomorrow night in Laredo, Texas, they will tape next week’s NXT and SmackDown. As noted before, WWE doubled-up on tapings this week because of upcoming international tours.
