– TNA Champion Rob Van Dam will wrestle at the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view on Aug. 8, but he will not be defending his title, according to a story on the TNA website. “Dreamer confirmed that Van Dam will compete at the pay-per-view event, but will not defend his title,” reads the story.
– As of last night’s iMPACT taping, the former ECW talents are being referred to as “EV2.0” (Extreme Version 2.0). Reports indicated that it was an Eric Bischoff suggestion.
