Several pro wrestlers that were formerly with the WWE have passed their 30 day non-compete clause period and are now true free agents that can sign anywhere. The list of wrestlers are:
- Mickie James
- Shelton Benjamin
- Fu Naki
- Mike Knox
- Slam Master J
- Jimmy Wang Yang
- Katie Lea Burchill
It remains to be seen if TNA has any interest in these stars or if these stars have any interest in TNA. All are solid performers and would likely be an asset, with Mickie James having the greatest name value. James as many of you remember was with TNA (as Alexis Laree) in the beginning when they still did weekly PPV’s from the Asylum in Tennessee.

TNA needs to act now and sign Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Carlito…they could bring even more recognition with the Worlds Greatest Tag Team(shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) and start gathering 2nd generation superstars such as sim snuka and manu with the sign of Carlito that would put them on the market and increase the popularity of the TV Title.
