TNA Wrestling’s director of international marketing Dan Stevenson recently spoke to Indian Television about the company’s Indian promotional tour. TNA has three promotional objectives according to Stevenson, “The first is to promote our partnership with ESPN Star Sports through promotional events. The second objective though is to go beyond the TV screen. We want to bring the TNA experience to our fans. Therefore, we are looking at doing live events. We are talking to several promoters.” The third objective he mentions is a talent hunt for the next Indian pro wrestler. The winner of the talent hunt will receive a TNA contract.
Judging by the turnout at these promotional events it appears TNA is definitely on to something big here. TNA must continue to expand it’s revenue base if it is to continue to grow, and it looks like the company is doing just that.
