According to James Caldwell of the Pro Wrestling Torch, this Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! averaged about 1,270,000 viewers which is slightly greater than last week’s average viewership.
No word yet on how WWE Superstars fared on WGN America.
Each week in this spot I use last week’s viewership numbers to project a rating for the current week’s episode of iMPACT!. Please note that this is an extremely inexact science since the number of people watching cable television changes on a daily basis and thus the cable rating system changes on a daily basis. However, if we use last week’s final rating as a base and the week-to-week comparable data doesn’t change, then that means this week’s episode of iMPACT! scored a 1.03 rating. This would mark the first time since iMPACT!’s return to Thursday night that it truly averaged a 1.00+ final rating. Remember to check back at TNAStars.com this Monday for the final ratings for this week’s episode of iMPACT!
In the mean time, keep an eye on our Ratings War area for the latest information on how iMPACT! is faring in its “Thursday Night War” (get it?) against Superstars!

I think the move back to Thursday has been good for TNA. There has been a noticeable story build, rather than the “throw everything against the wall and see what sticks” mentality they had on Mondays. I am personally enjoying the product much more than I did.
