– It’s interesting to note that during Jack Swagger’s reign as World Heavyweight Champion, he only had four singles match wins on TV while racking up six singles match losses on TV. Swagger lost non-title matches to Randy Orton, John Morrison, Undertaker, Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio twice. Swagger had one win in a three-way match, one tag match loss and three DQ losses. It’s easy to wonder what WWE was thinking when they booked Swagger’s first big run.
– Rey Mysterio was given this past Tuesday’s TV tapings off so he could take his family on vacation to Hawaii for a week. Rey’s contract with WWE gives him one weekend per month off from live events but he’s supposed to be at all TV tapings and pay-per-views.
– You may remember reports last year of WWE bringing back former announcer Sean Mooney. Talks between he and WWE didn’t work out and now Mooney is working for Fox Sports Net as a sideline reporter for rugby. Mooney played rugby in college for a Division II national championship team.
