According to James Caldwell of the Pro Wrestling Torch, this Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! averaged about 1,220,000 viewers which lines it up directly with last week’s average viewership. The folks at TNA went head-to-head against the NBA Draft on ESPN, but holding steady at 1,220,000 viewers isn’t so bad considering the various day and time changes that iMPACT! has endured in the last few months. And unlike last week, this week’s episode of iMPACT! did not compete directly with WWE Superstars on WGN America.
The word going around the interwebs is that Superstars scored a 0.56 rating averaging 524,000 viewers for its hour of programming.
Each week in this spot I use last week’s viewership numbers to project a rating for the current week’s episode of iMPACT!. Please note that this is an extremely inexact science since the number of people watching cable television changes on a daily basis and thus the cable rating system changes on a daily basis. However, if we use last week’s final rating as a base and the week-to-week comparable data doesn’t change, then that means this week’s episode of iMPACT! scored a 0.99 rating. Remember to check back at TNAStars.com this Monday for the final ratings for this week’s episode of iMPACT!
