The interwebs are reporting that last Thursday’s (6/17) episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America averaged 308,000 viewers and received a final rating of 0.35. Remember that Superstars aired in a later time slot due to being postponed for a baseball game.
In comparison, during the first hour of iMPACT!, where both shows competed head-to-head, TNA scored a 0.95 rating and averaged over one million viewers. These numbers reveal that nearly triple the amount of cable television viewers were watching iMPACT! than were watching Superstars.
Call it what you want, but it’s a win for iMPACT! in the Thursday Night War. For full coverage of the “war,” check out our Ratings War area.
