Another Knockout is done with Total Nonstop Action (TNA), this time it’s the lady known as ODB.
ODB tweeted the following message on her Twitter account: “thanks tna fans for all the support but tna and odb have parted ways.it was a decision I made.bamm bitches”
The departure isn’t a big shocker as ODB hasn’t been featured on the show in quite a while. Several reports had surfaced on the Internet about her displeasure within the company. Whether this was true or not can only be verified by ODB herself. ODB, real name Jessica Kresa, was a three-time Knockouts Champion and was one of the company’s most popular stars.
Prior to coming to TNA, fans would have seen her as a hopeful for the first season of WWF’s Tough Enough. She would not make the final cut for the show.
TNA would be the first major company she wrestled for back in the early 2000s. She didn’t hang around the company for long as she would appear several times in 2003 and 2004 for the company.
After this she went to the WWE’s developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). She would win the OVW Women’s Championship on two occasions before leaving the company and returning to TNA in 2007.
TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted back in November of last year that ODB had been signed to a multi-year contract which, at the time, quelled rumors of the Knockout leaving the company.
Her last big feud in the company was with another former Knockout Tara.
There’s no telling where ODB will end up now but you can follow her moves by following her on Twitter.
