Early information available suggests that this week’s episode of iMPACT! was watched by an average of 1,276,000 viewers over the course of the two hour time slot. This represents an increase of about a quarter of a million viewers from last week’s show where the average viewership was 1,052,000 viewers. In total, the increase in viewership represents a jump of 21.29% in total audience.
Not bad.
If the week-to-week cable comparable data doesn’t change from last week’s numbers, then this week’s episode of iMPACT! scored a final rating of 1.06. Update: The week-to-week cable comparable data changed and thus this week’s episode of iMPACT! scored a 0.99 final rating. Please remember, though, that this is a projected rating and not based on the reported data for this week’s total cable television viewership. Those numbers will not be available until early next week so be sure to check back for the final rating. It is being reported that earlier in the night, WWE Superstars scored a 0.84 rating on WGN with an average of 1,017,000 viewers during the show; we hope to have a final rating for this show by early next week, too.
You may also want to note that this past Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! went head-to-head against another game in the NBA Finals. The NBA Finals (and all major sporting events) are always stiff competition for professional wrestling shows.
