TNA wrestler Sean Waltman (X-Pac) is headlining an outdoor NWA wrestling show in Arizona later this month. The NWA is advertising that Waltman will be challenging for the NWA World Title currently held by Adam Pearce.
Also scheduled to appear are former NWA World Hvt. champion Blue Demon, Jr., former WWE manager Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer), and various Lucha stars.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 26 at the Desert Sun Stadium, which seats about 10,000 for minor league and spring training baseball.
With the show being promoted primarily as a showcase of Lucha Libre, the NWA is marketing toward the local Hispanic audience. The NWA’s local advertising is in Spanish.
