Many of the internet rumor sites have “reported” that Vince Russo has suggested that he is willing to retire from the booking team at TNA. The new twist on this rumor is that Russo is telling people he wants to be the Executive Producer of TNA, which would put him in a similar role as Kevin Dunn in WWE. For those that don’t know, Dunn is the head of the department that produces all things related to WWE’s productions including home video, graphics for the television shows, the flow of the shows (i.e. changing camera angles), etc.
In essence, this rumor suggests that Russo wants to be the guy who decides what the fans actually see on television instead of being the guy who writes what the storylines are for the wrestlers.
