The report below is from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Try to set aside any anti-TNA and, frankly, anti-professional wrestling feelings that you may get from the report. The truth is that the people that write the Wrestling Observer Newsletter don’t understand the first thing about advertising and marketing and that this “story” is not really a story at all. However, I present it to you for your entertainment.
We’ve gotten a couple of reports of TNA advertising its house shows around Hulk Hogan, intimating he would be there but not outright saying so. For the 7/2 show in Brooklyn, Hogan’s photo is on the Brooklyn Cyclones web site talking about the card, although he is not scheduled to appear on the show. Another reader noted that she had seen posters promoting another house show show with a giant photo of Hogan on them.
