TNA Knockout Daffney was reportedly injured during a dark match at tonight’s TNA Impact taping in Orlando, Fla.
Daffney was working with a local independent wrestler, Betsy Ruth, in a try-out match. Ruth, who claims to be the great granddaughter of baseball legend Babe Ruth, reportedly went for a corner splash and crushed Daffney. (Read details on the match on WrestlingNewsWorld.)
According to the report, Daffney remained motionless after the movie and was taken out of the ring on a stretcher. She was then removed from the building in an ambulance, but TNA president Dixie Carter says Daffney will be “okay.”
“Daffney injured in a dark match tonight. Taken to hospital in ambulance. She will be ok,” Carter said on Twitter.
