It’s enough to make me cry! My father and brother watched ‘wrasslin’ from the AWA days and as much as I ‘hated’ Heenan, I also liked him. He HAD to be a nicer guy in real life than he played or he would’ve been killed half a dozen times by as many wrestlers!
Interestingly, BOTH Hogan and Flair wrote the Forewards for both Bobby’s books!

Thanks for the comment but I must say you may want to consider your source. I also read the Dynamite Kid’s book a few years ago, and while I don’t remember his comments on Heenan specifically, he seemed very bitter towards a lot of people that most everyone else seemed to like. If you put that in context, his opinion may not be the most accurate. For some reason Billington feels everyone owes him, and anyone who did not agree with him screwed him over.
Gotta give it to Bobby Heenan for coming to these things. He looks very ill.
