Joining the likes of Orlando Jordan, Brian Kendrick, and Christy Hemme is Desmond Wolfe’s valet, Chelsea. Reports are circulating that Chelsea recently signed a long-term contract with TNA. This follows long-term contracts being signed by the aforementioned TNA stars.
If I had to speculate (and I don’t), I would suggest that Eric Bischoff is one of the major reasons why TNA is signing long-term contracts with certain talents. Bischoff knows from his days running WCW that you have to lock in talent for the long-term before you significantly build their character. Of course, that is just my speculation and everyone should remember that Bischoff is not on par with Dixie Carter, but rather a creative team member.
