Last night’s episode of iMPACT! returned to form with a solid 0.87 rating (rounded up from a 0.866). The first hour of the show ran unopposed by WWE at the 8pm hour and came in at a solid 0.91 rating. The second hour of the show scored a 082 rating and competed with Monday Night RAW for the entire 9pm to 10pm hour as well as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship game from 9:20pm until 10pm.
In a bit of good, if not expected, news – the Knockouts were once again the shining light of the show. The overrun featuring the payoff of the Lockbox Showdown drew a 0.97 rating while the show’s opening segment which featured the Knockouts and a Rob Terry/Homicide promo drew a show-high 0.98 rating. Overall, it is being reporting that iMPACT! drew in an average of 1,195,000 viewers throughout the night. Not too bad for a promotion that most people buried after last week’s disastrous showing. Monday Night RAW drew a 3.17 overall rating for the night, averaging over 4.6 million viewers for the night. It also happened to be RAW’s lowest rated show of 2010, which probably has something to do with the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship game between Duke and Butler drawing some 20 million viewers.
