– At Thursday’s TUF 12 open tryouts at the Omni Charlotte Hotel’s grand ballroom in Charlotte, some interesting names showed up — WEC fighter Mike Budnik (8-4), PRIDE/King of the cage vet Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett (22-16-2) and Jason Guida (18-21). Guida was on TUF 8 for the first episode, but could not cut enough weight to make his elimination fight. UFC president Dana White, executive producer Craig Piligian, producer Jamie Campione and Spike TV executive Brian J. Diamond were there for the auditions, which were for lightweight and light heavyweight fighters.
