There is a rumor floating around the interwebs that WWE wanted Earl Hebner to come in for this weekend’s WrestleMania show. Specifically, Hebner was wanted for the Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon match. There has been no confirmation from anyone inside WWE or TNA as to whether this rumor is true.
Joe’s Comments: While it is highly unlikely that Earl would give up his TNA contract to work a single match for WWE, it would certainly be interesting for WWE fans to see him at WrestleMania. However, with Brian Hebner just starting with TNA and Earl receiving some notoriety through on-screen interactions with Hulk Hogan, I can’t imagine that such an offer for a one-night only deal with the WWE would even be entertained.
