With one click, I was Sonya “Macho Pounder” Sorich.
Then, I realized my online wrestling nickname generator had a “female version” button. I re-submitted my information and turned into Sonya “Beautiful Bride” Sorich.
Impressed? I didn’t think so.
Maybe it’s best to leave the wrestling nicknames to the pros, like the guys who will appear when Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling comes to the Columbus Civic Center on Friday.
In the lineup: Jeff Jarrett, who launched TNA Wrestling in 2002. At 230 pounds, Jarrett has won multiple wrestling championships.
Jarrett, also known as “Double-J” and “King of the Mountain,” is a third-generation member of his family in the pro wrestling business. His grandma was a wrestling promoter in Tennessee.
His noteworthy wrestling feuds involve guys like Ric Flair, Sid Vicious and Scott Hall.
Get close enough to Jarrett and he might threaten to smash a guitar against your head.
The threat excites many fans, but this “Beautiful Bride” is still training.
Friday’s lineup also includes “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Beautiful People, “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan & Hernandez and more.
