– Rey Mysterio reveals in his newly released autobiography, Rey Mysterio: Behind the Mask, that he checked himself into a drug rehabilitation center last year as a result of a persistent issue with legal pain medication.
Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer says it was due to lingering problems he had with his biceps last year. If you recall, Mysterio suffered a biceps injury during an overseas tour in February and underwent three surgeries within the space of a month to correct the problem.
– During a New York Yankees parade in New York City this week, former WWE Diva Lilian Garcia was assaulted and thrown to the floor after someone tried to grab her cell phone. She is okay following the incident but was shaken up and grazed her elbow after falling. Garcia filed a police report and authorities hope to capture the suspect from security camera footage.
