Former WWE wrestler Ken Anderson posted a note on his Twitter page asking fans to submit their t-shirt ideas. When a fan asked what name he’ll be using now that he’s no longer allowed to use the “Mr. Kennedy” monicker, Anderson responded, “Mister Anderson.”
The Hamilton Spectator has an interview up with WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Here are some of the highlights.
On people addressing his “straight edge” lifestyle: “I don’t really like calling it a lifestyle thing because to me it’s really not. Going out every day and drinking and partying, that’s a lifestyle. What I do is easy. I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. That’s just the way I live my life.”
On working as a heel and making “straight edge” apart of it:”I was kind of nervous because when I came into the WWE they had no aspirations of making a drug-free kid a hated character and I thought it was going to tank because I’m telling everyone that I don’t smoke and I don’t do drugs. I thought people would boo me but they actually took to me. I guess it’s a testament to how hard I work at certain things.”
On working with The Undertaker at Breaking Point: “For all the experience I have and all the stripes I may or may not have earned in the WWE thus for, I’ve been there for pretty much a hiccup compared to how long Undertaker’s been there. “He’s been there 22 years and I’ve been there three. My career is definitely divisible into his. I’ve been in the business a long time so at this stage experiencing anything new at this stage is very cool. Going against The Undertaker is new and that makes it fun for me.”
