On this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, it was announced that next week’s special guest host of the program will be none other than former 7-time Women’s Champion Trish Stratus. The show takes place in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Trish, who has always been a good ratings draw, will be the special guest host on the same show that will feature the return of Batista. They aired a very different commercial tonight to hype this up, teasing a “career-altering announcement” by Batista, possibly retirement.
There’s a good reason for the company to stack next week’s show, as it will go head to head with the season debut of Monday Night Football. You can expect references (and maybe skits) to football next week.
