– As noted previously here on the website, four fans were outside the Staples Center this past Sunday in Los Angeles handing out Sting masks just feet away from where WWE was holding the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Apparently, WWE found out about this and immediately informed security to get a hold of all the masks and immediately throw them in the trash.
Presumably, the fans were sent by TNA to hand out the masks as they each came bearing bags full of them to hand out to the WWE fans passing by. One of the fans handing them out noted, “If we give out all this stuff we go to Bound for Glory for free.” Of course, the Sting masks were handing out because it has been heavily speculated that the legendary star is expected to retire at TNA’s premiere event, Bound for Glory.
– Finally, along with Rey Mysterio starting his 30 day suspension on September 2nd, one night after the SmackDown! tapings next week, he is expected to be scrapped from this weekend’s house shows.
