TNA World Hvt. champion Kurt Angle was released from jail late Saturday evening after posting bond. Angle was arrested earlier in the day on charges of stalking his girlfriend, Rhaka Khan.
Khan told police that Angle attacked her around 6:20 a.m. and she went to a local Starbucks to contact her family because she was afraid to use her home computer. Angle was then spotted circling the parking lot. Police arrested him due to a violation of a restraining order Khan filed against him.
According to the police report filed, Angle claimed he was looking for a hotel and did not spot Khan in the Starbucks. Khan told police that she saw him stare at him “three times” while he was circling the lot.
Angle is scheduled for a court hearing on Tuesday back in Pennsylvania. It appears that Angle will have to miss at least one day of the TNA Impact tapings following tonight’s Hard Justice PPV if TNA allows him to wrestle on tonight’s show.
