For those wondering, Maryse is in Alabama and has either already undergone or will soon undergo a knee surgery, as her injury from the PPV is legit. This is also the reason they blew off the storyline with Maryse & The Miz at Night of Champions. Once the Divas’ Title Match was done and WWE was aware Maryse is injured and potentially gone for a whlie, they did the segment.
Monday was Triple H’s 40th birthday, or 41st birthday, depending on what your source is. There was a huge celebration and 15-minute long cake fight after RAW went off the air that featured Vince McMahon and Batista (who joined the festivities since the show was in his hometown of Washington).
