The WWE Raw main event for next month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view was announced on this week’s edition of Raw. John Cena defeated The Miz in a “Beat the Clock Challenge” to earn the right to fight Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
WWE SummerSlam 2009 will take place on August 23, 2009 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
