Former WWE Divas champion Maryse is in Birmingham, Alabama and will be examined by Dr. James Andrews tomorrow. It’s believed that Maryse may need knee surgery to repair ongoing issues with her kneecap.
In December 2008, Maryse suffered a dislocated kneecap on a house show in North Carolina after being dropkicked by one of the Bella Twins. She was able to avoid surgery at that time due to the level of initial treatment she received and was able to return to the ring several weeks later, but has had ongoing issues with the knee since then.
It was obvious she was off during her bout with Mickie James last night.
