You know, the funny thing about this is Kimbo never really talked a lot of crap about how great he was or he was the best. That was the people around him and the promoter for EliteXC. Every interview with him I’ve ever heard was kinda mellow, just gonna go and do what I do, that sort of thing. Dana really put the spurs to him, talking a lot of smack, which is great and all, but it really didn’t make a lot of sense. Kimbo wasn’t bringing it to anybody like that. Dana being Dana, he really went balls out after Kimbo. I think that it would be great if Kimbo goes all the way, but I really doubt that will happen unless he’s improved his ground game and his mental game for the MMA world. He’s tough as hell, nobody questions that I don’t think, but he’s got to be able to survive and THRIVE on the ground AND he can’t get caught rushing into situations like he did with Petruzelli.
