ESPN had an interview tonight with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon during their NBA preview show. During that interview, Vince revealed that Nuggets-owner Stan Kroenke’s management staff were “the worst businessmen in the world” and that the WWE was practically “forced out” of the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
Vince also announced, when asked, that the new venue for WWE RAW next Monday night will be over 1,000 miles away from Denver in the Staples Center of Los Angeles, California.
No doubt that this move is being done for two reasons: to garner a large crowd for the live show as quickly as possible and to continue the media frenzy by having the arena of Denver’s current opponent booked.
