— Triple H will be returning to action shortly after Sunday’s WWE Judgment Day PPV, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. After Batista cost Triple H the WWE title at Backlash, there has been talk of The Game interfering in Sunday’s main event and preventing Batista from capturing that same title from Randy Orton.
— Jesse Ventura was a guest on Larry King Live this week and as always, it was interesting to say the least. Ventura, who is now an avid surfer and lives in Mexico “an hour away from any pavement and electricity,” had a lot to say about the current state of United States politics. Some of the topics discussed included President Obama’s first 100 days in office, George W. Bush being the worst president of Ventura’s lifetime, water boarding and torture, legalizing drugs in the United States and Ventura wanting to be the Ambassador to Cuba.
— Ring of Honor has posted a video clip of Nature Boy Ric Flair’s entire first televised ROH promo from the May 2 edition of ROH TV on HDNet. Flair, who now serves as the official “ROH Ambassador”, cuts a promo and is later joined by ROH Champion Jerry Lynn. The two men are then interrupted by Austin Aries.
