Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with a video package of Randy Orton taking out the McMahon family and winning the WWE Title, basically what we saw last week. We see clips from last week’s match with MVP and when Shane McMahon attacked. The RAW opening video plays as the pyro explodes inside the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY. Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW.
Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon
Voices plays as the WWE Champion Randy Orton makes his way to the ring by himself for tonight’s opening match. Orton hits the ring and poses with his WWE Title. Shane’s music hits and Orton waits for him. Shane comes from behind through the crowd and attacks Orton. They go to the floor and start fighting up the ramp.
craMtechnologies: They brawl into the crowd, going back and forth. Shane brings Orton back over the fan barrier and leaps off of it nailing a clothesline on Orton. Shane puts Orton on the announcer’s table and climbs back in the ring. Rhodes and DiBiase rush the ring but Shane tries to fight them off. They beat Shane down as Orton comes back in the ring. Legacy holds Shane as Orton works him over. MVP rushes the ring and fights Legacy off. They get the best of him eventually and beat him down as well.
MVP is tossed over the top rope as they continue the assault on Shane. Batista rushes the ring and takes Rhodes and DiBiase out with spears. Randy Orton ducks out of the ring and stops on the entrance way. Vickie Guerrero appears on the stage during all this chaos and introduces herself. She says tonight’s main event will see Shane vs. Orton take place. Before that, MVP will face Cody Rhodes and Batista will face Ted DiBiase. Whoever wins those singles matches are legally allowed to join Shane or Randy in the main event. We go to commercial.
Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston
Back from commercial and Matt Hardy is making his way to the ring, still with the cast on his arm. Out next is his opponent Kofi Kingston, pyro and all. Matt takes the mic and says everybody knows Jeff broke his hand and he should not be wrestling tonight. He has filed a formal complaint to the appropriate authorities because he’s being forced to wrestle injured. He says he is wrestling tonight under protest.
They lock up to start the match and Kofi works on the other arm of Matt. Hardy stalls some and they lock up again. He seems to be using the hand just fine. Matt rolls to the floor. Kofi comes after him but Matt gets in the ring first. Kofi drops Matt. Kofi ends up rolling Matt up for a close 2 count from behind. Kofi misses a kick from the top rope. Matt kicks Kofi in the gut and takes control now.
Matt drops Kofi over the top rope and gets a close 2 count. Hardy nails a suplex now and another 2 count. Kofi counters the next suplex with a neck breaker. Kofi fights back and drops Hardy with a big dropkick. Kofi with a crossbody from the top now and a clothesline. Kofi nails his big double leg drop but only gets a 2 count. Kofi kicks Matt with the Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere to get the pinfall and the win.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
After the match, Kofi Kingston is celebrating on the ropes. He hops off and turns around to a shot to the face from Matt Hardy’s cast. Kofi is laid out as Matt heads to the back with the crowd telling him he sucks. Back to commercial.
Backstage we see Santino Marella talking with Kelly Kelly. He says she will have so much fun teaming with his sister Santina on Superstars this week. Santino says Santina won’t be here this week because she has swine flu and calls Vickie Guerrero a piglike. Chavo walks up and gets mad. He says Santino shouldn’t make fun of him or anyone in his family. Santino apologizes and sends Vickie a message in pig talk. Santino walks off with Chavo looking pissed.

– Cole and Lawler recap Big Show attacking John Cena at Backlash and Cena costing Show his match last week on RAW. We see Show walking into Vickie’s office. He wants a match with Cena tonight to end his career. Vickie says Cena is unable to compete and has internal injuries. She says he can’t wrestle for two more weeks. She makes the match Cena vs. Show for Judgment Day. Show walks off.
– The Bella Twins approach MVP backstage, talking about The View. They ask him if he wants to go out tonight and he says yes but first he has a match. MVP says he thinks he’s going to like it here. MVP vs. Cody Rhodes is up next as we go to commercial.
MVP vs. Cody Rhodes
Back from commercial and Cody Rhodes is in the ring. William Regal is on commentary with Cole and Lawler. He talks about the Draft and is upset about something. Out comes the WWE United States Champion MVP to a pretty nice pop.
The bell rings and they lock up while Regal vents his frustrations on commentary. Rhodes and MVP go back and forth with MVP taking him to the mat. Backslide by MVP for a 2 count. Another 2 count by MVP. MVP drops Cody with a shot to the face. They go back and forth on the mat some more. Regal seems to have a problem with The Miz. MVP runs into a knee from Cody and goes down. We see Shane watching backstage on a monitor.
Lots of mat wrestling here between MVP and Cody. Cody works on the leg of MVP now. MVP breaks a hold and decks Cody with rights. MVP nails a big overhead throw but Cody kicks the leg and goes back to work. MVP drops him with a knee tot he jaw and drops his big elbow drop. Cody rolls to the floor. Regal gets up and motions towards Rhodes or something. MVP throws Cody in the ring and gets back on the apron. Regal comes from behind and takes out MVP’s knee, sending him to the floor. The referee didn’t see anything as his back was turned. MVP tries to make it back to the ring but can’t and is counted out. Cody will now join Orton in the main event tonight.
Winner by countout: Cody Rhodes
Back from commercial and we get a replay of Eve and Layla’s dance off from SmackDown. Jerry Lawler is in the ring and says tonight, we will have a sing off on RAW. He introduces Jillian in the ring who is wigging out. Lawler says Jillian’s hand-picked opponent is Festus. Festus is just looking dumb with a bowtie on his neck. Jillian starts singing and it’s horrible as usual. It’s Festus’ turn to sing and he just stands there, still staring. Jillian acts like she’s the winner but Lawler says Festus hasn’t sung yet. Lawler has someone ring a bell and Festus transforms. Festus starts singing “Tomorrow” and the crowd pops. Festus is a nut. Lawler has the bell rung again and Festus stops and continues to stare. Lawler asks the fans who won they pop for Festus. Lawler announces Festus as the winner. Jillian wants one more chance and begs Lawler all the way to the announcer’s table. Festus just stands there with his hand in the air holding a microphone as The Miz makes his entrance.
The Miz enters the ring and Festus is still frozen. The Miz attacks Festus and throws him to the floor. Miz says get that fat, bald virgin out of his ring. Miz talks about how John Cena ducked his challenge last week. Miz asks Cena where his self respect is and keeps putting him down. Miz challenges Cena again for a match tonight. Cena appears on the big screen and looks pissed. Cena is making his way to the ring it looks like. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Miz is giving the crowd hell. I think they’re booing him because he just really sucks, not because he’s a good heel. Miz asks Cena where he is and says he must be scared. Miz says Cena must be looking for his next movie script. Miz says he mailed it to The Rock because he was out of toilet paper. Miz goes on about Cena and how he, Miz, is the top RAW star. This guy just doesn’t click and comes off like a big Rock ripoff. Miz says let the record books show that Miz has beaten Cena two straight weeks. Miz tells Lilian to stand up and announce him as the winner. She won’t and he calls her worthless. Cena’s music hits and he comes slowly walking out to the stage.
Cena slowly walks to the ring and acts like he has trouble getting up on the apron. Cena enters the ring as his music still plays. The music hits and out comes Big Show, who is pissed off. Cena backs up in the ring as Show gets on the apron and in the ring. Looks like Miz left the ring. Cena raises his hands to fight while Show just stares at him. They just stare at each other for about a minute. Show smiles and kicks Cena in the gut. Show rocks Cena with a big body punch and another. Show hits Cena again, beating him around the ring. Show hits a big double axe handle blow and locks a clutch on Cena. Show pulls back on Cena’s neck. Cena passes out with his face in the mat and Show just stands over him. Show just stands there some more. RAW has been really bad tonight. We get ready for another commercial as Lawler tries to sell how serious the attack on Cena just was. Bad stuff here folks.
Back from the break and we get replays of what Big Show just did to John Cena. Lawler and Cole are really trying to sell it.
Mickie James vs. Maryse
Lilian Garcia introduces tonight’s special guest ring announcer, Jared the Subway guy. This match is sponsored by Subway. He introduces Mickie James first and then her opponent, the WWE Divas Champion Maryse.
Maryse stalls to start the match here. She goes to pose on the ropes and Mickie attacks her. Maryse goes to the floor but gets pulled back in. Mickie goes to work on her and hits the Thesz Press and a series of rights. Maryse goes back to the floor to regroup. Mickie runs out after her. Maryse shoves Mickie back into the fan barrier and wastes some time. Back in the ring now and Maryse gets a 2 count on Mickie.
Maryse with a submission hold now and some taunting. Mickie fights back and Maryse goes down. Dropkick to the face and a 2 count by Mickie. Mickie ends up on the top rope and Maryse drives her down to the mat. Mickie hits her big DDT on Maryse to get the pinfall and the win in this non-title match.
We see Batista backstage warming up as we go back to another commercial break.

Ted DiBiase vs. Batista
Back from the break and Ted DiBiase is already in the ring waiting. Out next is his opponent Batista with the winner going on to the main event tonight. The bell rings and they lock up. Batista puts Ted in the corner. Ted rolls to the floor but makes it back in the ring first. Stomps by Ted now.
Batista comes back with a big scoop slam and a clothesline. Ted slides out of another slam but runs into a big boot. Ted slides out of a Batista Bomb but gets clotheslined. Batista drops a boot on Ted but gets dropkicked in the jaw. Ted with rights on Batista now and a 2 count. Ted kicks Batista in the face and drops a neckbreaker on Batista. 2 count again by Ted. Ted with a facelock now. Batista breaks out of it and clotheslines Ted in the corner. Batista with shoulder thrusts in the corner now. Ted counters and hits a drop toe hold in the corner on Batista. Ted comes off the top and lands on a Batista boot. Batista hits the spear in the corner and more shoulder thrusts.
Ted smacks Batista. Batista responds with more shoulders and lots of stomps and rights in the corner. Batista puts his boot in Ted’s neck as the ref tries to get him off. The ref counts to 5 and has Batista disqualified. Ted is announced the winner as Batista argues with the referee. Ted scrambles to the back with a smirk on his face. Ted will join Orton and Rhodes in the main event against Shane McMahon.

Backstage and Chavo is talking with Vickie about Santino and tonight’s main event. Chavo says if he were General Manager, he would take away MVP’s US Title if he interferes in the match tonight and take away Batista’s title shot if he interferes. Chavo is acting like he’s GM here and Vickie can’t get a word in. Chavo says he is going to tell everyone of her decision.
The Brian Kendrick vs. Carlito
The Brian Kendrick is out first for the next match. His opponent is one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Carlito, who has Primo with him. The bell rings and Kendrick shoves Carlito. Carlito fires back and Kendrick plays around. Kendrick drops Carlito and goes to work.
They go back and forth. Carlito goes to the apron and comes in with a plancha off the top but Kendrick dropkicks him in mid-air. Carlito gets Kendrick stuck in the corner and hits a Backstabber out of the corner for the pinfall and the win.
Winner: Carlito
Back from a break and we get some promo videos including one for MVP and The View. We go to various replays of tonight’s RAW. Shane McMahon is backstage walking to the ring when Batista catches up with him. Batista apologizes for losing tonight but says he is going to take the WWE Title from Orton at Judgment Day.

Voices starts playing as Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and the WWE Champion Randy Orton make their way to the ring for this handicap main event.
Back from the commercial and Legacy waits in the ring for Shane McMahon. Shane McMahon’s music hits and out he comes to the ring with a serious look on his face. Shane is going to start the match off with Cody. Cody rushes him but Shane fires at him with punches. Shane runs into an elbow in the corner but clotheslines Cody. Cody rams Shane back into Legacy’s corner but he escapes. Shane takes Cody down but gets hit with a jawbreaker. Orton is tagged in.
Orton goes to work on Shane but gets kicked in the face. Shane hits rights on Orton as he tags in Ted. Ted runs around the ring, comes back in and clotheslines Shane. Ted starts stomping on Shane now. Shane with a big clothesline out of the corner as he stops Ted from tagging in Cody. Shane works on the arm of Ted now and drops big knees in his back. Ted breaks the hold and goes to tag. Shane knocks Cody off the apron to stop the tag. Shane with a neckbreaker on Ted. Shane goes to the top and hits a big elbow drop on Ted but is slow with the pin and only gets a 2 as Cody makes the save.
Cody argues with the ref but Shane sends him out to the floor. Shane goes after him and uses the steps. Ted comes at Shane on the floor and gets slammed into the steps as well. Shane kicks Cody in the gut and grabs a chair. Shane goes to use the chair but Orton nails him from behind and lays him out. Shane is put back in the ring as Orton rolls Ted back in the ring. Orton is tagged in and starts kicking and stomping at Shane. Orton drops a big knee drop and tags back in Cody. Cody stomps away on Shane.
Cody goes to the top rope but misses a moonsault as Shane rolls out of the way. Ted is tagged in as he comes in and beats Shane down in the corner. Shane kicks Ted in the face and hits a big clothesline. Shane tries to stop Ted from tagging but can’t. Orton comes in. Shane rocks Orton with punches and a big kick off the ropes. Shane dumps Orton to the floor. Shane dumps Cody and Ted to the floor also and goes to work on all three of them. Shane takes apart the announcers table and puts Orton on it. Shane goes back in the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Shane leaps onto Orton from the ring but Orton moves out of the way. Shane crashes through the announcers table and is laid out.
Legacy drag Shane over and prop his leg up against the steel steps. Orton grabs a steel chair and taunts Shane. Orton measures and cracks Shane’s ankle with the chair against the steps. Orton taunts Shane now and drags him back over. They put his leg over the bottom part of the steps now. Orton grabs the chair again but throws it down. He grabs the top piece of the steel steps. Orton taunts Shane some more as Shane pleads. Orton drops the big steps onto Shane’s foot as Shane screams in pain. WWE officials rush down and Legacy run off. As we’re in replays, Batista’s music hits and he comes down just a bit too late. Shane is helped into a brace and onto a stretcher by WWE officials. Orton takes the mic on the stage and tells Batista his Judgment Day is coming. Shane is wheeled up the ramp on a stretcher as Batista screams at Orton from the ring and Voices plays. RAW goes off the air.
