As many expected, UFC set a record this week, as UFC 100 became the fastest sellout for a major arena MMA show ever in the US. The show — headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir for the Heavyweight Title with a touch of nostalgia reflecting on the past 99 events — takes place in the Mandalay Bay Events Center, the capacity of which is 11,000.
All tickets sold out during the pre-sale on Thursday as UFC Fight Club members get first dibs. The few tickets left then went on an Internet sale for UFC newsletter subscribers. Tickets were to go on sale Friday to the public but there aren’t any left.
