This won’t come as a surprise to many, but The St. Petersburg Times reports today that police found steroids and prescription pain killers at Andrew “Test” Martin’s condo.
No cause of death has been made official and it is believed this will be the case for another few weeks while police awaits the results of a toxicology report. The only new information on the case came from Tampa Police spokesperson Laura McElroy who reported that Martin was in the middle of a meal when he passed away. Police found a half-eaten pizza and an almost full glass of soda at the scene near his body.
It should be pointed out that Andrew Martin was a supporter of the steroid culture, and was quoted on several occasions that steroids should be sold to the public without a prescription. In his last stint with WWE, he failed a drug test while working on the ECW brand, and was subsequently suspended for 30 days as a result. He was pretty angry when he was told to stop using steroids, which resulted in Martin talking the company into handing him his release.
