There will be an official announcement tomorrow by WWE that confirms the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ, will play host to WrestleMania 26 in 2010. The probable date for the event is March 28, 2010, although nothing has been made official as of this writing. The Arizona Republic has already picked up on this story (click here and we’ve had confirmation by stadium staff of a press conference tomorrow at which WWE officials, stadium representatives, and Glendale mayor Elaine Scruggs will be present.
As a reminder, Phoenix, AZ had been campaigning to get WrestleMania in 2010 for quite some time, going as far as having pictures of Wayne Gretzky sporting a WrestleMania 2010 shirt printed in a local paper.
