Jamie Noble appears seriously injured following his match with Mike Knox earlier tonight on RAW. The finishing move of the match seemed botch and pretty painful, and as it turns out that was the case. Noble suffered what appeared to be a neck injury, as he remained still on the mat after the bout. He was attended to by medical staff and referees who several fans in attendance report were discussing the injury. It elevated to a point where Vanderbilt University medical staff had to enter the ring to check Noble’s status.
A stretched had to be brought in to cart Noble off the ring area. This all took place during the Michael Cole, Chris Jericho, and Ricky Steamboat segment, which had to be moved to the right of the stage, while Noble was carted off on the left side. One has to wonder if the segment was planned to be in the ring in the first place and had to be moved to the stage.
We’ll keep you updated on Noble’s status, and we wish Jamie a speedy recovery!
