It’s just hours to go until No Way Out. And even though I always thought of ordering this show, the thrill to see it wasn’t quite there. But this past week’s Raw and Smackdown and even ECW really put me in the mood for NWO. Now the Royal Rumble wasn’t my cup of tea, so hopefully tonight I will really feel that I got my moneys’ worth. Okay here I go with my picks for tonight’s show.
ECW Champion Jack Swagger vs. Finlay
I said this last month for Royal Rumble, and I’m going to say it again. There is no way that Swagger is going to lose tonight. I have a feeling we are going to see a very good match but then I am biased in favor of Finlay because he can do no wrong with me. Swagger is coming along just fine and I am looking forward to this one. You know with Christian now on ECW you have to think he’s going to show up during this match. I’m just not quite sure what his job will be. So as I said Jack Swagger will win, but Finlay will give him a run for his money.
Winner: Jack Swagger
Shawn Michaels vs. JBL (All or Nothing Match)
You would think that Shawn Michaels would finally take care of JBL tonight. Yet part of me says that JBL is going to win and this feud will continue right up to Wrestlemania when that match will not only give HBK a win, but it will be the end of JBL “owning” Michaels. HOWEVER, it would still make so much more sense to me to have Michaels win and have him move on to maybe the Undertaker for a big match at Mania. It’s really hard for me to pick a winner here. Let’s remember Shawn’s wife Rebecca was invited to be at ringside and that makes me wonder if she’ll accidentally cause her husband to lose. Wow talk about possibilities here? Well I am going with a Shawn Michaels win, I wish I could say I felt certain about this, but I don’t. But I am certain that as good as this feud as been out of the ring, that’s how good it’s going to be in the ring. Oh yeah this should be one hell of a match, one that tells a fantastic story. Bring it on!
Winner: Shawn Michaels
Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (No Holds Barred Match)
I am 99.9% certain that Randy Orton will beat Shane McMahon. I think this is going to be a cool match, and I see Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase really playing a key role in Orton’s win. Now I am also thinking that Miss Stephanie McMahon is going to turn on Shane and align with Legacy. And yes, I expect this match to come through with flying colors. And just like the first two matches that I talked about this is another one that should be worth watching.
Winner: Randy Orton
World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match – John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Mike Knox
Okay this is given, JOHN CENA WINS!!!!! I’ll tell you why we can eliminate the rest of the guys. Kingston and Knox have no chance of winning, but then I think we all know that. I don’t see Mysterio and Jericho leaving with the title since Jericho had it not so long ago, and they took it off of him as soon as Cena returned, and Rey I don’t see headlining Wrestlemania. So there you have it Cena wins, but even though this is so predictable I think we will see a good match here especially with some high flyers mixed in there.
Winner: John Cena
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match – Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. The Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Kozlov vs. Triple H
Of the two Elimination Chamber matches I think because of the unpredictability here this will be the better match. It’s not to say that the World title match won’t be good because it will be very good, but at least for me, not knowing who is going to win it just makes this even more exciting to watch. Hey I like everyone in here with the exception of Vladimir. But then again I know he’ll give his all and I look for a hell of a match. Now the question is just who is leaving the WWE champion? I’m on the fence with either Edge or Triple H. I was going with Hunter, but I think I’m going to stay with an Edge win.
Winner: Edge
As you can see on paper this looks like a very good show. I have to say I can’t wait to see No Way Out. Keep sending your predictions to me. I have really enjoyed the predictions that I have received so far. Enjoy the show and Tuesday but more likely Wednesday I will talk about No Way Out and Raw. Also I just want to add that I loved Friday’s Smackdown. It was such a good show from beginning to end and just like Raw it built up the pay per view beautifully. And after tonight’s show I will be anxiously waiting to see what we get on Raw tomorrow night.
