Vince McMahon has made the call that Steve Austin will NOT be inducted by Ric Flair at this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony, as originally planned. The word we’re getting, however, is that Ric Flair will still be present at the ceremony as a member of the Hall, although unknown if he’ll have another role.
While we have no details as of this writing as to why this is, added to some late Royal Rumble changes, a lot of rumors have circulated the Internet, none of which can be confirmed. Logical choices for people to induct Austin were Ric Flair (because he wanted him to), Jim Ross (who is not going to be it because he’s inducting Bill Watts), and Vince McMahon himself.
