As reported on our website and on several other places, HDNet sent ROH a proposal on 1/7 for a one-hour weekly TV show — ROH’s first TV deal offer. Details have surfaced about the proposition. The show was to most likely air on Saturday nights, and HDNet would not pay a license fee for it, but would take on all production cost for the show, which is quite a big deal because HDNet would cover the major cost for their cameras and other production expenses. As far as we’re aware, ROH is still considering the offer.
Apparently, Mark Briscoe’s knee injuries are more serious than previously thought, and he looks to be sidelined for about four to six months. Jay Briscoe shared that Mark was told he needs to have the ligament behind the kneecap shortened and also have his ligaments on the side tightened. Doctors might have to implant ligament tissue from a cadaver to make this work. We wish Mark a speedy recovery!
