Several sources are reporting that the woman used in the Jeff Hardy car accident angle on SmackDown! was not Jeff’s real-life wife Beth, but rather an actress hired for the segment. This has been done many times in wrestling before, especially in WCW. WWF/WWE has often times used real-life relatives for storylines, the latest of which was the wife of Shawn Michaels.
As it turns out, the cuts in WWE are affecting literally everyone, with several high-ups and people close to McMahon getting axed as well. As reported earlier on this website, two of McMahon’s limo drivers were fired. The largest area of the company that has been hit by the cuts was the WWE.com crew. A lot of employees with over ten years of service have been axed as well.
