We have no further details yet, but Jeff Hardy did not appear as planned at the WWE house show in Alexandria, Louisiana last night. Since this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown! is already taped (they did double tapings two weeks ago), WWE decided to extend their tour of the south by adding a few shows.
Hardy wrestled Edge at the Saturday House show in Tyler, Texas, and we don’t know if he appeared on Sunday in Bossier City, LA, as no report is available as of the time of this article from that house show.
WWE made the announcement to the fans that Hardy “couldn’t attend” and instead of delivering the WWE Champion, they replaced him with a rare house show appearance by The Undertaker who battled The Big Show in a cage match. We’ll keep you updated on what caused this no-show by Hardy, but in the meanwhile check out this local newspaper article on the situation.
UPDATE — Jeff Hardy was seen backstage at the RAW tapings last night, thus obviously it was a WWE call not to feature him at the house show.
