As of RAW tonight, the WWE Royal Rumble PPV has the following matches:
* John Cena vs. JBL for the World Heavyweight Championship
* Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the WWE Championship
* Beth Phoenix vs. Melina for tor the WWE Women’s Championship
* The Royal Rumble Match featuring 30 wrestlers, of which the following have already been announced: RAW — Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, and Kofi Kingston; SmackDown! — The Undertaker, Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov, The Big Show, and Shelton Benjamin.
As you can see, all the top players that are not involved in title matches (except for Shawn Michaels, at least thus far) are going to be in the Royal Rumble match. I would expect for CM Punk to find himself in there as well, unless they’re planning another IC title match with Regal for the PPV.
