After 16 weeks of competing against regular season NFL football on ESPN, WWE Raw picked up a sizable increase in the audience for the December 29 Raw from Monday night.
The show, featuring the four-way #1 contender match won by JBL, averaged approximately a 3.5 rating and 5.3 million viewers with a significant audience of 5.70 million viewers for the second hour of the show.
The audience level jumped 10 percent from last week’s 4.77 million viewers and was nearly 8 percent above the five-week average of the previous five weeks of TV from Nov. 24 through Dec. 22.
