For those of you who caught RAW last night, Mickie James seemed very shaken up at the end of the divas tag match, where she teamed with Melina to take on Jillian Hall and Layla. Mickie took a bump to the floor from the very top rope, and seemed to lose balance and limp through the rest of the match. At the end of the bout, she had to be literally picked up by Melina to get inside the ring, and both women seemed worried over Mickie’s condition with James crying openly on camera. The ironic part of all this is that Melina’s ankle injury occurred when she took the exact same bump, thus everyone feared the worst for Mickie.
As it turns out, James is banged up but okay today and did not suffer a serious injury. WWE will probably look into getting rid of that dangerous bump in their divas matches.
