Milena Roucka, a former Divas Search contestant, made her WWE debut on Monday Night RAW tonight, doing a stalker gimmick. Due to the nature of her gimmick, she was purposely not being paid attention to as much. She was the girl in the crowd shown on camera holding a “Glamazon in Training” sign. You know, it’s interesting and somewhat ironic if you relate this to a past storyline.
It was a few years ago that Mickie James burst onto the scene as a Trish Stratus fanatic-turned-stalker. And then Beth Phoenix was brought in to take out Mickie James. After beating her senseless, Beth yelled out that Mickie had ruined her life and she wouldn’t get away with it, then she called her a psycho.
It’ll be interesting to see how this story develops. It may likely be considered an extension of that storyline due to a Beth Phoenix injury which prevented the story from advancing, only this time with new faces.
Yup, great memory. Doesn’t help TNA just did this angle either, but ah well. I doubt they’ll look into the past, they’re hoping we’ve forgotten all about this.
…and lets not forget back in the WWF days we had the SAME gimmick with Torrie and Sable! Now im showing my age! 😀
