The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the medical suspensions for last weekends UFC 91 that featured a main event of Brock Lesnar challenging Randy Couture for the UFC Heavyweight strap. Lesnar would win the title but did not walk away unscathed, the new champ will sit on the sidelines for 30 days due to a cut suffered during the bout.
Randy Couture – “The Natural” has been suspended for 60 days after his TKO loss.
Brock Lesnar – is suspended for 30 days to allow his eye laceration to heal.
Josh Hendricks – “Heavy” is suspended for 30 days after being on the receiving end of a technical knockout.
Tamdan McCrory “The Barn Cat” is suspended for 6 months pending multiple X-rays after being turned into Stretch Armstrong.
Aaron Riley – is suspended for 30 days as a result of his three round war with Jorge Gurgel.
Jorge Gurgel – is suspended for 6 months and will have to undergo a shoulder MRI and ankle X-ray to determine whether or not he sustained any fractures.
Rafael dos Anjos – The UFC newcomer is suspended for 60 days for being on the wrong end of a Jeremy Stephens Shoryuken.
