As WWE is beginning the wave of cost-cutting due to the bad economy in the country, two wrestlers lost their jobs today. The company has parted ways with Paul London and Chuck Palumbo. Both hadn’t be used in quite a while, and this doesn’t come as a surprise. The following was posted on WWE.com:
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Superstars Paul London and Chuck Palumbo as of Nov. 7, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all future endeavors.

I am not surprised about Chuk Palumbo. He should have been a main-eventer, but they really real murdered his character and career when they booked him to lose to Jamie Noble four times!
You cant move up from weak storylines like that. It rarely happens.
Tom Smith says
Paul london and Brian kendrick were a decent tag team, I dont know why they broke them up . In my eyes the wwe tag team divison is stale at the moment.

Chuck Palumbo was let go because there was nothing left to do there, and he was hired because the was the Vince type of wrestler.
Paul London was in the dog-house since smiling a year ago when he was supposed to be serious on the night Vince’s limo blew-up. He then started dating Ashley Massaro which resulted in further trouble, and everybody felt he was a complainer backstage. He requested time off a couple of times, one of which he seemed unsure on whether or not wrestling is his real passion. London will definitely find work elsewhere, as everyone knows he’s a great worker, plus he’s also bilingual (fluent in Spanish) so don’t be surprised if he ends up in AAA in Mexico.
