— In an interview with Mike Mooneyham for the Charleston Post and Courier, Ric Flair addressed rumors of a possible retirement match in Japan for the annual January Tokyo Dome show. He said there is no truth to the stories. “Absolutely not,” Flair said on whether he’s considering a match in Japan. “That’s just propaganda.” Flair said he wouldn’t want tarnish his retirement match with Shawn Michaels at this year’s WrestleMania. However, Flair confirmed reports on doing a reality show. He has begun filming the pilot episode for a new reality show starring himself and his son, Reid. The show, which is being produced by Pink Sneaker Productions (same company behind Hogan Knows Best), will focus on two bachelors, Ric and Reid, “living together.” Pink Sneaker Productions has plans to pitch the series later this month, and shooting could begin as early as January. Flair has creative control over the project. Flair also said he recently signed a contract with a furniture store in Roanoke after an autograph session drew over 3,000 people. Flair agreed to appear at ten more stores and become a television spokesman for them.
