The recently released TNA video game has not done well with the critics, nor at the cash registers. The game has sold 98,000 units in its first week, which is way short of what expectations were, especially considering all the money TNA put in the project, on top of the fact that people buying the game are probably the TNA hardcore fans, who always get something when it first comes out, or simply never get it.
Video game reviewers haven’t exactly been hot on the product either. A recent review by Metacritic — the standard when it comes to video game reviews — has the game at a score of 63 out of 100, which is hardly impressive.
Some are already saying there’s no way TNA will follow up with a second game.
