Rey Mysterio’s WWE contract expires soon, and he is expected to sign a new three-year deal with WWE. According to sources, AAA took a shot at signing Mysterio, as they made a ridiculous-for-their-standards offer, claiming they’re offering a seven-figure-per-year deal, as that’s what Mysterio makes in WWE. They figured for Rey to consider it, they’d have to come very close to what WWE is paying him. It’s unknown on how AAA was going to afford it.
